At our organization, we are proud to partner with Smart Start Centers to provide special needs kids with access to summer classes and activity classes on Long Island. We believe that every child, regardless of ability, should have the opportunity to learn, grow, and explore their interests.
2023 Summer Partnerships
Smart Start has partnered with Heart of Giving to provide access to numerous classes and aide projects.
- Academic Classes: Classes to help kids maintain and improve academic skills in subjects like math, reading, and science.
- Enrichment Classes: Classes in areas like art, music, and theater to foster creativity and self-expression.
- Social Skills Classes: Classes to help kids develop social skills and build positive relationships with peers and adults.
- Life Skills Classes: Classes to help kids develop independence and self-care skills, such as cooking, cleaning, and personal hygiene.
To be eligible for our financial assistance programs, individuals and families must meet certain income and residency requirements. The application process is simple and confidential, and can be completed online or in person at our offices on Long Island
What They Do
Smart Start Centers is an organization that helps people of all ages and abilities across Long Island get access to classes such as Music, Cooking, Yoga, Jewelry Making and more. They provide the instructors, supplies, and location for anyone to learn a new passion and grow!
